The City Royal is a palace complex erected by Jaipur’s Maharajas. The complex had a number of palaces, gardens, and courtyards. The complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Maharaja Jai Singh II established the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. Several stone constructions make up the observatory. These are used to calculate time and forecast eclipses. Also, take note of the positions of the stars and planets.

The Jal Mahal is a palace in the centre of Man Sagar Lake. Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber rebuilt and expanded the palace and surrounding lake in the 18th century.

The Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) was simply a Hhigh screen wall created so that the royal household’s women could view street celebrations. Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh erected the building in 1799. Lal Chand Ustad constructed the Hawa Mahal in the shape of Krishna’s Crown, the Hindu God.

We’ll now see the City Palace. Between 1729 and 1732, the city palace was constructed. Amber’s monarch at the time was Sawai Jai Singh II. He designed and erected the outer fortifications, and subsequent monarchs continued to expand to them until the twentieth century.

Visit Jantar Mantar (Observatory) is a collection of 19 architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh II and completed in 1734 CE. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
